For over 100 years, Hathaway-Sycamores Child and Family Services has been helping children and families improve their lives and fulfill their dreams.

While we have faced numerous challenges and overcome many obstacles through the years, our commitment to providing the very best in programs and services to the children and families we serve has never wavered.

In our search for excellence in service delivery, we are proud to have once again been awarded the Gold Seal of Approval from the Joint Commission. The Gold Seal marks the highest level of certification an organization can receive and measures how they administer care and continuously improve performance This past year has also presented significant economic challenges throughout our entire industry and required our team at Hathaway-Sycamores to make not only strategic, but sometimes very difficult, programmatic decisions. But through the guidance and support of our board of directors, a dedicated staff of over 600 employees and a donor community who strongly believes in our mission, we continue today as the largest provider of children’s mental health services in Los Angeles County, helping over 11,000 children and families.

While we have accomplished a great deal and have much to be proud of over the past year, our mission is now more critical than ever before. In turbulent economic times such as these, where individuals lose their jobs and financial resources become stressed, the need for our services will increase significantly. Our goal is now the same as it has been for the past 100 years, to always be there for those who need our help.
